Environment prize for a Weber product in Austria
The Environment Prize 2010 of the City of Vienna honoured this year the first thin coating which regulates the moisture instead of fighting it. The new innovation called weber.pas topdry allowed Saint-Gobain Weber Terranova to win this very precious prize.

Weber opens a new factory in Sofia (Bulgaria)
Weber Bulgaria new factory for dry mixed mortars was officially opened on April 28th by the Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev. Located in the industrial zone of Kostinbrod, close to the capital, Sofia, the factory with an annual capacity of 100,000 tones will employ at the first stage 20 people.

Weber opens new production unit in Telford (UK)
Weber opens a state-of-the art production and warehouse facility in Telford, Shropshire – one of the fastest growing manufacturing areas in the West Midlands. The eight-acre site will initially accommodate a 5,500m2 factory designed to output 100,000 tonnes of facade renders and tile adhesives annually.
