Weber opens a new factory in Sofia (Bulgaria)
Weber Bulgaria new factory for dry mixed mortars was officially opened on April 28th by the Bulgarian Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev. Located in the industrial zone of Kostinbrod, close to the capital, Sofia, the factory with an annual capacity of 100,000 tones will employ at the first stage 20 people.
The new plant will enable Weber to expand its product portfolio in order to suit with the needs of the Bulgarian construction market and to launch regular innovative building solutions developed for the local market that will offer many benefits to the professionals of construction and to the end-users.
The modern production process of the factory, is environment friendly : no use of water and full recycling of all waste materials.
