Corporate Social Responsibility in Weber Netherlands – March 2011
Weber not only focuses on business, customers and the markets but also on society. Therefore Weber Beamix Netherlands supports each year a charity program. Last year Roparun was chosen: a relay race from Paris to Rotterdam (520 km) where people in a team raise money to help people with cancer.
The Weber Beamix team consisted of 8 runners, 4 cyclists and a number of drivers, physiotherapists, caterers and captains collected approximately € 15,000. The total result of the Roparun 2010 was € 4.6 million. A great amount by which a number of beautiful goals can be achieved, such as sanitary equipments, oxygen equipments and so on, see the sponsored goals on www.roparun.nl.
